About Colorado Timberline
January 15, 2008
Colorado Timberline was established in April of 1993. Timberline started out like many companies, with an idea of being just a little bit different and a lot better than the competition. The company was small back then with only two employees, one room and a lot of green fleece. But slowly as the industry found the fleece to be exceptional the business started to grow. Now in a new 120,000 square foot distribution center located in Denver, Colorado we maintain over one million units and 500,000 yards of fleece and microfibre to assure immediate same day shipping.
A leader in fleece and microfibre garments and accessories, Colorado Timberline is proud to introduce the most sophisticated electronic web-to-print and decorating processes in the world. There has never been a collection of decorating or printing procedures all under one roof, managed by a simple yet efficient online tool. Our customers can now personalize individual products quickly, or collections of products applied to a specific event. The frustrations that occur while sourcing multiple products and the necessary art required to decorate their variable products need not exist, by simply using our user friendly design tool.
Environmental problems have become so complex many corporations feel they have no effect on them. Our response to these issues began in 2007 using wind generated electricity to produce recyclable and bio-degradable carbon neutral components for our paper products. In addition we aggressively handle our recyclable materials to utilize our environmental resources. The bottom line is recycling makes a difference and it is the right thing to do.
We would like to thank you for making time for us and letting us tell you about our company.
Alternative to Screen Printing Now Available
Denver, CO 01/05/2007 Digital Printing a New Alternative
Colorado Timberline is proud of their accomplishments in the development of Direct on Garment Printing (DOG) as an alternative to screen printing. As one of the first developers in this exploding new industry it has allowed us to make many improvements in the digital ink to garment process.
We are also one of the few companies that are able to print on dark cottons and light polyesters. The process is truly awesome when viewing the vibrant clarity of the photo quality images; one can see there is no substitution for this full color new technology. In addition the variable data component permits our customers to simply load the names and numbers, in spreadsheet format, and literally create personalized custom shirts in the same run.
DOG is a great option for low quantity orders as well as multi-colored or complex designs. With excellent primary color presentation. DOG is a solvent-based direct process of printing from a computer file onto a garment. The resulting print has a soft hand and a slightly matte look.
